Ted is one of our senior instructors and comes to IWLS with a strong background of technical skills on the water and in the mountains. After studying mechanical engineering at Northeastern University he turned his attention to the peaks. He has lead expeditions to Denali, Aconcagua, Pico de Orizaba, Island Peak, Lobuje East, and other high altitude peaks around the world. He is also a certified ACA Open Water Coastal Kayak Instructor, a WEA NSP instructor and a LNT Master Educator. Outside of instructing Ted is an avid photographer, rock climber and loving husband.
